With so much new information to assimilate when starting University, it can be disorientating for students to find the important information they need they need it. That’s why many universities are now seeking to offer their students an online induction programme they can complete before their first day, to familiarise themselves with the campus locations, the university’s history, organisational structure, vision and values, as well covering pastoral concerns such as the use of alcohol and drugs, sexual consent and social media etiquette.
This course is designed to equip new students with the basic information they need to orientate themselves on the first few weeks, as well to educate them on the potential dangers of consumer drugs and excessive alcohol.
