Universities and colleges are by their nature, culturally diverse institutions hosting staff and students from many different cultures, faiths, races and sexual orientations. The challenge facing many universities is to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and that the university is providing a tolerant, open learning environment that allows everyone to reach their full potential without the risks of conflict or discriminatory behaviour.

This course, designed in partnership with Manchester and St Andrew’s universities, equips students to participate sensitively and on an informed, self-aware basis in a diverse learning environment.

Our diversity training for students will ensure that students understand:
  • Differences (and how to respect differences)
  • How inclusive behaviours and practices can translate into enhanced employability once they leave university
  • The differences between bullying and harassment and how they relate to the Equality Act 2010

People who have bought this course have said:

“It’s been a pleasure to work with David and his team over the past few years. Marshall E-Learning have always been very open to new ideas and been able to provide a solution that suits our specific needs as a University. We have had some excellent feedback on our online diversity module and are looking forward to working with Marshall E-Learning to develop some more online modules in the future.”
